If the applicant’s place of collection of documents is in Mumbai, an additional courier fee of Rs 300 will be applicable.

If the applicant’s place of collection of documents is in Delhi, an additional courier fee of Rs 300 will be applicable.

If the applicant’s place of collection of documents is in Chennai, an additional courier fee of Rs 300 will be applicable.

If place other than Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, an additional courier fee of Rs 500 will be applicable on Russia tourist visa fees.

Document Required For Russia – Business Visa :

1. Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.Attach all your old passports (if any)
2. Russian Federation Visa Application Form :
a) If applying from Kolkata: One visa application form duly filled and signed by the applicant.
b) If applying from Delhi, Mumbai & Chennai: Visa application form has to be filled online by the applicant after filling the form applicant has to take the printouts and submit to the Embassy/Consulate.
Please Note: Applicant has to mentioned his/her residential address as per mentioned on the passport.
3. Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old,scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
4. Covering Letter : Covering-letter from the applicant on the company’s letter head stating applicant’s name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Russian Federation, New Delhi.
a) If applying from Mumbai: The letter should be addressed to: Consulate General of Russian Federation, Mumbai
b) If applying from Kolkata: The letter should be addressed to: Consulate General of Russian Federation, Kolkata
c) If applying from Chennai: The letter should be addressed to: Consulate General of Russian Federation, Chennai
5. Invitation Letter: Original Invitation Letter from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its Regional Representative Offices, or from the Ministry of the Interior or its local offices including a travel itinerary, the dates of stay, full name, date of birth of the persons invited and workplace of the person invited.

8. Please Note:
a) If applying from Chennai: Prior appointment needs to be taken by using the link http://www.india-ifs.com/index.php?id=index&lang=en#logo in order to submit the visa application.
9. In accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 413 on a Migration Card, Foreign Nationals entering the Russian Federation, must receive and fill in a migration card, present it to a border control officer who puts a mark on the migration card about the entry into the Russian Federation if the information in the card matches the information in the passport and the visa. Migration form is given free of cost to foreign citizens by border control officers or representatives of organization providing transport services to foreign citizens. 1. If Employed:
  • Leave Sanctioned Certificate: with company seal providing approval for leave
  • Salary Slips: of last 3 months
2. If Self Employed:
  • Business Proof: Registration License/MOA/Partnership deed
  • Company Bank Statement: stamped & updated for last 6 months with bank seal
3. If Retired:
  • Retirement Proof: pension book, statement etc
4. If Student
  • ID Card: from school, college or institute
5. If Minor
  • Birth Certificate showing the names of both parents
  • Legalized Letter of Consent (NOC)
    • If the child is travelling with one parent, the letter of consent authorizing travel must be legalized by the other parent
    • If the child is travelling alone or without either parent, a notarized letter of consent from both parents permitting travel
  • Death Certificate: in case one or both parents are deceased
  • ID Proof: of parents
6. If Visiting friend or relative
  • Invitation letter: stating the relationship with the inviter and purpose of visiting the country
  • ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit
  • Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill
7. If Sponsored
  • Sponsorship Letter: sponsors need to provide the name of the visitors, what the purpose of the visit is, relationship with the visitors, length of stay, dates of travel & any other additional information if necessary
  • ID Proof of Inviter: Passport or Resident Permit
  • Address Proof of Inviter: Utility bill
  • Proof of Financial Support: updated bank statement, pay slips
8. For Business Visa
  • Invitation Letter: from the inviting company in Russia (INN Letter) or a letter of invitation issued by a Main Directorate for Migration Affairs in Russia
